One West is Chestnut Hill’s first, completely new residential construction on Germantown Avenue in 30 years. The Team

One West has been developed by Bowman Properties. Founded 30 years ago by a long-time Chestnut Hill family, the firm is dedicated to maintaining the character and historic integrity of Chestnut Hill. Following decades of successful adaptive re-use of historic properties, One West is Bowman’s first new construction property and has been developed with an eye for compatible design, superior materials and workmanship.

The building was designed by spg3, a firm whose work includes Abbotts Square in Philadelphia’s Society Hill neighborhood, as well as landscape, institutional and commercial spaces throughout the East Coast and overseas. On the One West project, spg3 worked in association with Stanley Runyan and Associates Architects, a Chestnut Hill architecture and design firm. The property is being marketed by Berkshire Hathaway Fox Roach; their knowledge of Philadelphia and Chestnut Hill in particular has been invaluable in communicating the unique features of the One West residences. General contractor and construction manager is Guidi Homes, a locally owned and operated company with over 6 decades of experience in both commercial and residential settings.
